I am looking to update my torsion springs and I am confused as to what the actual spring rate is for the RTX SE. Some have said they are 1400nm while other people are saying the SE has 1900nm springs. Is there anyone that knows for sure? My dealer said the 1400's are the stock springs.
Thanks for the help

From what I've been told the SE has the 1400 with stiffer shock valving. While the Standard RTX has the 1900 with softer valving.
Unless I'm wrong, someone will hopefully correct me

Funny thing is the 1400's are double the price of the 1900's which does lead me to believe the 1400's are the stock springs?

figures, because its a "limited build" machine" they jack the prices up on everything. Try to buy some limiter straps...same story

From what I know, 1400 Nmm/deg is standard in the 2009 RTX SE and there has been no changes for 2010.

The 1400's also come on the plain FX Nytro (non RTX). They work well with the extra bottom out rollers.

Perfect, so the 1900's that I ordered are in fact the next springs up!! I was looking for slightly stiffer springs and I was worried that I had just ordered what was already on the machine.

Where did you order the 1900's from?

I got the 1900's from my dealership. I think they got the parts from Parts Canada to be honest with you.
