Well after my Nytro RTX/XTX left my garage, sold to TY member, I was left with the M1000 I aquired shortly after Christmas. I put a few short rides on this machine and hated it. Everything about it, how much fuel it used, the seating position, the faulty sensors, the stink that surrounded it and the fuel it used. Power was decent on it. Felt like a diesel truck, not real snappy.
Long story short, I had this unit loaded up and never looked back.
Let the mods begin. I was amazed at how quiet the clutch was on this sled. You couldn't even hear it. That lasted exactly 20kms and it was rattling away just like my last Nytro. The handwarmers also lasted about 48kms and then they were non existant. All issues I expected to have.
I started with the usual quick mods, prefilter, shock covers, skid plate, dielectric grease and foam around the headlight. I also made my own rolllover valve. I considered buying Mtn. vipers kit, but I need it by weeks end for Revy trip. The anti freeze on this machine was a real weird blue colour. Maybe I've been living under a rock?
This sled flat out rocks. I really never noticed the extra length with this machine. The rear skid is amazing. The SE feels a lot lighter than my RTX did. Can't wait to try it out in mountains.

Do you have a pic on the foam around the headlight? Im thinkin of a good way to stop the snow from entring trough that hole, but ive yet to find out how... Im a bit tired of all the snow inside teh sled!

Here it is. Nothing fancy, just some weatherstipping foam from hardware store. Fits like a glove with some trimming.

First trip on new ride was great. This sled was steps ahead of my last one in the mountains.
Don't ask how this happened. It came out of there relativley easy
If your not getting stuck, your not trying hard enough.......
Out of all the sleds that I have owned, this is by far the best handling one and easiest to ride. I couldn't be happier with it. I may even name it!
