In my application I run 49/45 helix and I very like it. It's a monster in the mid and push hard.
My primary is cool but my secondary is little hot with the orange set at 3-2. The midnight blue seams to works well at 6-1 .
Will I have better result on top end and cool deco dart with orange set at 3-1 or 3-0 or keep the midnight blue ?

If you hit the correct rpm on top and held or gained rpm with speed you will gain nothing on top by changing the secondary spring.

I think the orange is too stiff but may be work well set at lower twist with my helix or ....more twist on the midnight blue. Between these 2 springs which are the most efficient for my 49/45 helix ?If you hit the correct rpm on top and held or gained rpm with speed you will gain nothing on top by changing the secondary spring.
I want less heat in the secondary too and lower a bit in rpm

Lonn told me with heavier snow run orange at 3-2, if riding smooth hard pack trails then you can go 3-1. You may want to test it to see if satisfied.

Did you tried the midnight blue before ? What did you notice with the orange?

Presently running mid night blue spring at 6-1. Happy with it's performance.
Have not installed the orange yet but will do so within the next week or so.

I tested it at 3-1 today with my wife sit on the barber chair at the rear. They pull hard from 8500 to 8950 and I reached 82 mph in a short stretch in the loose snow. The secondary was cool and primary was warm. I had better result with xtx belt vs gates (8dn).Lonn told me with heavier snow run orange at 3-2, if riding smooth hard pack trails then you can go 3-1. Alsim, which belt are you running? I'm about to test a new 8jp gates carbon fiber and will then do the secondary spring so I can isolate the changes.
