Just wondering if I'm missing something but I installed my secondary adjuster and when you turn in the Allen bolt to open the secondary it wears into the helix. Am I missing a washer or something?

I just slide a small 1x2 piece of metal in between the screw and the helix before I start turning it in.
Then it chews into the metal and not the helix.

Ya I can do that too.... Are the other manufacturers the same?I just slide a small 1x2 piece of metal in between the screw and the helix before I start turning it in.
Then it chews into the metal and not the helix.

On the OSP they have a black plastic spacer, so screw does not touch helix ever.
But you can clean up the end of the screw nicely, grind and smooth ect, so it wont do too much damage each time.
