I have a 2007 apex ER I had a track blow out today it took out the front heat exchanger and exhaust and idler wheels :o| so I need a track and wheels and heat exchanger. I have the opertunity to change it to a 136 instead of a 121 at a good deal what do you guys think ???

go 136, you'll never go back - everyone i ride with is 136 to 144 - my phazer was a different machine with a 136.

I have thought about insurance claim the exhaust is done the front heat exchanger is done and the track and idler wheels are done. :o|

I would go with a 136. I have had several long tracks and I wouldn't go back to a 121. They really do bridge the bumps much better!

I was 136".......I went back.
Yup same here,my 06 attak, kept blowing tracks, and it sucked in the bumps and did not like to turn,so i made it a shortie, best darn thing i ever did.

136" is a big difference in the way it handles the bumps,a lot better. You will probably lose a few mph on the top end and you will notice a huge difference in cornering. Its a bear in the tight corners. I can keep up with anyone on a 121" but it takes more muscle to turn it. I love my 136"

I had the exact same thing happen to my 07 RTX and I stretched it. More for the traction than anything else. I am now trying to hunt down the problem with my 136 Fast Airwave, seems to be binding! There is a lot of good posts here to help you if you are trying to do the work yourself, I did and it was quite the project. Good luck :rocks:
