Track Clips

Where did you get the tool? What did it cost? I was going to make one like that using a ball joint popper but buying one would be a whole lot faster.

I borrowed it from the dealership. I will find out who makes it. The air ratchet was perfect for the job a impact destroys the bolt. Just hit the trigger till it stops. Some stock clips were not very tight. I suspect that and the extroverts were the issue. We will see.

Thanks, I have searched high and low and can't find one like it. When I saw the bolt cutter type, I thought I could make a ball joint popper work well with a little fab and welding. Seeing the one you pictured got me excited for an off the shelf solution.

Sure thing, a riding buddy owns a prototype shop with just about everything. A print would be great.

Yes TD slowly but surely I am making my 14 into your 15. Wish they would have offered your sled last year! I wonder what next year will bring?

Wave master ask your machinist buddy if he can convert a scanned file into a program. I have seen that done and it's very accurate. Uses Pixtels for measurement.

He said he can work with pretty much anything as long as there is a scale to go by. He said he can even convert a rasta file to vector if needed. He is most interested in the clip profile they used.
