Track drivers

I am building a 2008 144" Nytro out of a 121 RTX. I used suspension out of 2007 phazer mountain lite but its almost like the track is too short. I am thinking I need to switch the 9 tooth drivers for 7 tooth like the mtx. Can I use 2 center extrovert drivers or do I need the outer drivers as well?

Front skid mounting holes have to be same distance from drive shaft. Nytro front mount holes are likely farther back from driveshaft than on a phazer.
