Keep riding it. Keep burning them off. Every season I get less and less of the fraying. This year it's almost completely gone. Really the one to blame for this is the track Manufacturer. Not Yamaha. They used to seal/mold the edges completely with rubber so no cord is visible at all but I haven't seen that for years. Tracks also last way better than past. I cannot believe I have 8000mi on original track and still looks great!
