What are the typical signs to look for that it's time to replace a track? Is it the wear on the clips, torn lugs, tears, etc?

I have 6,000 on my Ice Storm 150, with the TD Stock Muffler Tunes, and the lugs, track, and clips look to be in really good condition. I really like this track and I know it's a single ply track, so looking for input from folks as to what to look for as I know this track is starting to get into the range of possible replacement. Appreciate the help fellas!

Mine always will delaminate right around 8000mi. Lug comes completely off down to the cords and if you dont catch it the bar will poke out through if on a edge. SRX it was always a stud ripped through never wanted to chance it after that. Also clips coming off cause of wear. Would either have to replace all or whole track.

Thanks Cannondale.

If you are unstudded I would go until you see the signs listed by Cannondale -unless you are looking for a change in performance.
I took a studded Ripsaw 1 1/4 to 10k miles on my first Apex then the track quickly began to deteriorate

Buddy has just over 12K miles on stock track with studs. Still looks fine.

Looks fine and is fine are two different things. Seen too many high hp 998s toss tracks out the back or throw studs through the tunnel. A track is cheap compared to repairing the damage. Anything over 6000 miles if you've driven it hard a new track should really be considered even if it looks fine.

100% correct.
Tracks will only rack up more miles if they are on low HP models, or driven at slower speeds.

Watch for missing clips
