I have 2014 LTX deluxe viper and was wondering what people were running for track tension. If I run mine at recommended setting in manual {2"at 25lbs down force} I find the suspension has a binding point in the strock when the transfer blocks come into play. As soon as the rear scissor comes into contact with the transfer blocks it takes alot of force to get it past that point and the track seems very tight. If i loosen the track the suspension will stroke through the entire motion without binding but I am not sure what the maximum looseness of the track can be. I now have it set at 2 3/8 with 25 lbs pull. Is this too loose, any tighter and suspensoin binds.

When the rear scissor contacts the transfer blocks at that point it starts to couple the rear suspension, it would be very difficult to test that at all just sitting flat on the ground and not in motion. At 2" of sag with some weight on the track you're not too tight by no means, a little looser shouldn't hurt anything but too loose and the track will ballon more at higher speeds which will have negative affects on the sled.
