I researched it some and talk to others and it was not recommended .... you will be hitting your pipe and tunnel underneath as well as the front heat exchanger. I have heard all kinds of mods with track lug height and skid size and unless your sled came from factory like a mountain sled you have a few things that would have to be changed . .... drivers... tunnel clearance... approach angle... ect.do you know if you can fit 1 3/4 track or no?

FWIW, I put a tracks USA 121-128 extension on my 06 Apex and a 1.35' Cobra on it. Cheap and easy mod and the differrence was HUGE! I didnt see any negatives and better all around traction, hard, soft, on and off trail improvement. I was riding with 136 Apexs with 1.25 ripsaws, and I feel I had better off trail traction than they did. Im on a 12 128 apex now, and if i need to replace track I will cobra again for sure. I would highly recomend the 128 kit, it just bolts on. 1.5"@128 would have to be even better. Might have to tweak snowflap mount a bit.

What comes in the extension kit? And could you put a 1.5” track with that extension?FWIW, I put a tracks USA 121-128 extension on my 06 Apex and a 1.35' Cobra on it. Hey VX, I plan on doing the 128 extension on my 06, but was debating between the Cobra or the Rip II. The majority of my riding is still trail but, I wanted a little more flotation and better loose snow grip. Will probably still want to add studs after the track swap. Just concerned about clearance with the studs due to the extension in the back.
My current stock Ripsaw track has a 168 golddiggers and just nips the exhaust on occasion.
