Does anyone know if the 05 RX1 GYTR traction brackets will fit the 03 running boards? The 03 p/n brackets are discontinued by Yamaha. I have been watching e-bay for a pair of blue ones for my 03 and have not seen any yet. I was told the 05's are different running boards so they wont work by the dealer. Anyone know this for a fact?

what? i think my dealer still has a set on display. heck i mounted a set on my et410 from a 03rx1. should have seen the girls face when i told her i had a hammer, a drill and they where going on!
the only difference for the 05 was probably a bolt hole location for the skid. try for a set from a 04/05 warior. should be the right ones. might be sol on the colour but can always powdercoat or anodize them.

Was told the 03/04 p/n were different and the 05 p/n would not fit due to the running board is a different shape/angle. I have black ones on there now, was going to move them to my wifes sled and put blue ones on my sled.

Does anyone have a 05 and 03 RX that they can compare the running boards on. I know the main difference is the mono-shock adjuster thru the left side of the tunnel, but if that is all I could still use the traction brackets for the 05. Or does someone have a pair for an 03-04 that they are partiing out?

I have a brand new set of blue ones that are for an 03 RX... I have a warrior so they dont fit. Bought them here and I was going to modify them to fit, but didnt get to it... they are hanging in the garage if you are interested. I will pm you.
