I have 250 miles of rough bumpy terrain on my rebuilt rear shocks by cannondale. I love it! Transfers great and eats the bumps. Deffinatly a must do. Great guy.

Yea the guy that owns it is 5ft 6 160 lbs and sits on the tank so its not to out of hand does lift the front pretty good with me on it.I've had the shaft out of mine, it makes it fun but slows the sled down, with shocks setup good it works very well.

Hope I'm not getting to far off topic but taking the shaft out won't hurt anything? I kinda mis how I could stand up my apex shorty up when I wanted to. I know I know skis up is just wasting power but man it's fun to go watch this, and stand it up.I've had the shaft out of mine, it makes it fun but slows the sled down, with shocks setup good it works very well.

Speed works makes a ajustable transfer block set up. Has 6 different settings. Works great for all conditions. Helped out big time for traction.
Rebound is Waaaay to slow. Thats the big one. When I do a shock its not just revalve. Piston is modded and I put a better scraper in to help prevent water contamination which is also a very serious issue with these shocks. Especially the center. Many are already so contaminated with water even after 1500mi that when disassembled the Sealhead cant even slide on shaft without significant force. It also rusts the valving inside.Any hints on revalving? What is stock at vs revalve?

Revalve rear shock
This! Cannondale revalved both my rear skid shocks over the summer with great results. Add some studs for a little more traction.
I have valving covered and you dont have to worry about bottoming out either. $80 a shock. Keep going back to my stock revalved rear shock. Its better than the Axis I also have. Valving of mine and Carver. Took 3 tries to get it right but it AWESOME
Right on, when are you going to break down and get the recipe for the 2015 RTX-LE 1.75. Just finished a ride with my new hurricane turbo, and suspension is needing some love.

Mine is ltx with axis shocks in there it takes bumps no problem but won't carry front over to next mogul plus its just spins on takes offs
Start speeding up your rebound. Limiters all the way out and couplers on one or removed.Mine is ltx with axis shocks in there it takes bumps no problem but won't carry front over to next mogul plus its just spins on takes offs

cannondale what is your turn around time to revalve both rears? I would be very interested! I'm studded with blocks on 1 and can't hook up to save my life after trail turbo.

I sent him a shock to have done, he received it on a Friday afternoon, it was back on my doorstep when I got home from work on Monday afternoon!

I haven't had anyone work with me in testing a LE yet. The two XC racers I work with love the shocks stock. But I won't make promises I can't keep so if I were you I would give Carver a shot with those shock.I have valving covered and you dont have to worry about bottoming out either. $80 a shock.
