your either getting great mpg's and or running your tank to the very bitter end. the test that I think grizz did that I mentioned might have had a different suspension setup. if you have the front end up high like they are stock when you sit down the fuel all would go to the back of the tank were the pump sock is. many though lower the front end to make them handle better so the test could have had that last gallon sitting in the front of the tank not allowing the pump sock to pick it up.

I have my front lowered from stock actually. And I had the same mods as you did last year (header, k&n pcv) so my sled was getting a little bit worse mileage than a stocker would. After 160-170 kms the tank will be on fumes pretty much. I put in 28 liters after that.

Ohyea definitely cutting it close. That was only a one time loop I did where its about 160kms between stations. Pretty much everywhere else in Ontario there are gas stations closer than that, which is why i was saying depends where you are riding whether you need a bigger tank or not.
More range is always nice, but the trail tank is alot of coin for us Canadians guys.

that's true! its all relative though since your dollar is worth less than ours doesn't it come out the same in the end?
I put the trail tank on for that extra fuel just in case plus like I said, these damn etecs now are going so much father and one group I ride with is all etec minus a Viper so I needed the fuel. want a super charger as well which will make it even more thirsty!

I put mine on the beginning of last year, worth every penny. Fit and finish is excellent. Needed the fuel capacity in northern ontario
