I'm looking for the simplest way to do a routine service on the transfer rod in my 06 apex skid.I read the article in the tech section but still have a couple of questions.
1. How do I set the transfer to the minimum before I remove it from the skid?I've never set the transfer in the 3 years I've had this skid so any tips would be great.
2. Is there any special wrenches needed to adjust the transfer collar? I don't have the correct wrench to fit the collar but it looks like I could do it with a chisel and a hammer?

Did you look in your tool kit?? There should be a spanner wrench with marks on it?? If you find that it will be much easier to show to tell you how to set to min and max.

This skid is in my SRX so the wrench that would've come in an Apex tool kit I don't have, unfortunately.
