Hahahaha you're right on Bounty. My hood will be modified and molded in fibreglass for next season. It will have a built in air scoope for the IC and air filter, it will also be made higher than the original one to make room for hoses and tubing. The head light pod will be moved slightly forward and up to clear the turbo and piping underneat and stay clear of the handle bars. I'm not going to start talking about the motor hhahahahaha

I finally took the time to change the Rx-1 D-frame with the new Apex D-frame . I also got apex fuel tank, fuel tank cowling and steering post installed.
The Apex steering post was about 2-3" lower that the Wildschild post - so I had to install the Apex mountain handlebars bars again. The mountain handlebars is approx. 2 inch taller than the vector hadle bars I had installed.
I also re-routed a bunch of eletrical wires.
I am still waiting for my PIAA lights, fuel removal kit, new bov and windshield before I can wrap things up for a paint job. I need these parts to make the final installment of the fuel pump (left footweel or up front like I had it) and bracekt for the PIAA lights

Installing the d-frame took some time due to all extra wires and hoses from the turbo install. I also had to change the handle bars due to the short apex steering post. Took quite some time before I was satisfied with re-routing of the wiring.
I got the MCX fuel pump removal kit today. I ran into a little problem - I need the fuel filter and plastic pickup part from the OEM pump. Do you guys by any chance have one lying around in the turbo garage? Take a look at the pic. If I can't get a hold of those two pices this will be put on the shelf to use it with the apex turbo kit. I have a PL pump removal kit on the way.
I got my windshield - seller sent me the wrong one. But I am pretty sure we will get it sorted out before the winter. I have sent him a pm - probably just a mixup when packages went out of his shop - LOL Here is what I got
and here is what I ordered
The PIAA lights kit cleared customs the other day - they should be here by the end of the week

TT awesome project.
I would love to be involved in these projects, but the only thing I have seen you have that I could do is the windshield install and then they sent you the wrong one. LOL
Great job. I look forward to hearing how it runs.
