yes they are the new style I bought my sled in the summer of 2017 and had to wait to pick up the sled till dealer could get the new style snowtrackers as they were still in final development at that time. The dealer was big on snowtrackers and they installed them and set up the sled. after a whole season but short season with low snow I called Travis and changed to the cat skis. Were the Snow Trackers you used on the Tuner 3’s the shorter version or the new long version? The new long version is supposed to be much better and offer “power steering” like feel. I just put a set on, however, ran out of time testing as trails just closed yesterday.

They are the ones that came “STOCK” on 2014 VIPERS. I don’t know the part number, but I’m sure any YAMAHA dealer can look it up and order them.Just out curiosity what CAT skis are you all running. Are there different models?
I paid the diffence in price between CAT skis and TUNER 3’s , right out of the crate at sled assembly by dealer, on my ‘18 VIPER, and ‘19 SIDEWINDER. It was less than $75 both times. I didn’t ask , but I believe all three sleds have the same exact ski , all three chassis are the same.

I do I removed the tuner 3's W/ ST's and replaced with cat skis W/ST's. I could not get the tuners to lighten up without pushing after 1000 miles I hated them either I was worn out or had to clean my shorts. also they wanted to dart in low snow hard trail situations. I have 2700 miles on the cat skis now and love them. they turn easy and track straight as well as go where I point them. reminds me of when I put ST's on my apex for the first time and never looked back. I have a set of tuner 3's with ST's already on them and would sell them for 200 plus shipping to anyone that wants to try them seems many have had better luck than me.
Just what I was looking for, thanks for sharing. As an added bonus, I think the cat/procross ski floats better than the tuner.

Check to see whats on the 19 srx they workI’m looking for advise on the best setup for the stock Tuner III’s on a Sidewinder ridden exclusively on groomed trails in the U.P. I am running an Ice Attack 1.22 so it is mildly studed. Most of my research here on Tuners, the threads end up morphing into what aftermarket ski is better. I’m not willing to spend another $500 to $800 for a set of skis. Just want to make the stock ski as good as possible. I am currently running Woodys 6” on the inside and 4” on the outside edges.

Man your hilarious, keep the rubber side downFirst of all, they SUCK on trailers! Just a plain 'Ole PITA!
I hit that same trail last Sunday with more confidence then ever on this sled. I haven't felt that confident since my Apex.
My bud said i was POSSESSED and he was scared to talk to me like some kind of Poltergeist movie scene. At that point i had finished dialing in suspension & with nobody on trails, i put it to the test. Also DISTURBED came on the iPod which is not good if you are planning to ride "together".
My last Curve set up was with Aggressive SnoTrackers. It did NOT work like i thought. TOO aggressive, which means "darty " when not on throttle in the corners. They also made the back end feel very loose when letting off throttle.
Curves with SlimJims did not have ANY of these problems, BUT they definitely pushed at high speed BENDAS.
I've stated MANY times on this site that OCD rides his Apex faster then his Winder. NOT ANY MORE!
Speedo was over 100 on most straightaways cuz i knew it would handle the curves without slamming brake which i don't like to do because it upsets the balance of the sled & also gets the clutches all out of whack. The best part was when the trail got tighter, it performed EXPONENTIALLY better due to how easy it steered.
The most important thing for trails is getting the right combo & balance.
NO ski does it all nor does one persons' set up work for others. If you can come to the NOCK this weekend, you can try it and base your decision on that.
P.S1: "Bendas" are Maine's way of saying big sweeping curves that you can see very far away so nobody is at risk except yourself and your sack
P.S2: "Curves" are very large radius corners that we think we can handle at 1oo, but we realize after the stained underwear that 50 is better suited
P.S3: "Corners" are............................well just corners
