who is making a block off plate???? I still want to use the stock location, I installed a skinz seat with the hauck husher muffler and would like to block off the tunnel, any info would be great thanks!

Any possibility to use the block-off plate included in the Skinz seat kit...?
If not, you will likely have to make your own block-off plate.
I made my own for the combination of Skinz seat and Excell full exhaust.

I bought the seat used and did not get the panel.

A block-off plate according to the picture below was included in my seat kit, even though I bought the seat kit without the silencer.
Call Skinz and check if it is possible to buy the block-off separately.

I like the look of that...what excell is that and is the hangar pictured which looks bolted to the seatframe from skinz or?

That is not the Skinz exhaust mount. They come set up to take a factory style mount.

I figured that...I want to know how he did that as Im considering the same

That is the Excell full exhaust with the Excell silencer clamp and bracket, in the position where they would end up if using the standard seat and heat shield. On top of this is a small, home made bracket. This bracket holds two clamps that attaches the entire assembly to the seat frame. A little bit too bulky and prototypish for my liking, but I will not invest more time in this particular bracket since I will replace the entire silencer with something lighter anyway...

I can post more pictures, but not until Friday.

I like it...and the tunnel bracing as well..

I am doing up an xtx and might take a page from your book....

Great pics. Just when I thought I was done "upgrading " my sled , I see these pics and get another mod to do. LOL ! Will the suffering never end?
I thought when the weather started to warm up I'd just put the sled away and start the bike! No!!! Can't stop tinkering with the Nytro! Its a disease! Save yourselves! :yam:

The Schmidt Brothers plate is a waste of money. It is just a square piece of aluminum I'm sure you can pick up locally for less $$$.
