Seems to be a good amount of snow, kicking up on top of the tunnel and seat, on my 2014 XF7000ltd. And on my back too.
Do these Tunnel Flares help deflect the snow?
Any experience, with these, would be appreciated. I'm mainly a trail guy.

I bought mine last season and did not install them. Was always getting nailed in the helmet with Ice chunks. At first I was looking for squirels in the trees throwing nuts at me. I put them on in the off season and have done over 400 miles with them on and no more hits even though I added 148 Pics. I just worry about forgetting and grabbing them when I get stuck.

I rode my LTX-DX once, and then they went on. Rode 500kms this past weekend, and they worked great! Should come standard IMO.

Do any of you guys have the 4th wheel kit on? I don't seem to have that problem of snow kicking up on my back but I'm running a 4th wheel kit.

I have a XTX and I wouldn't spend the money again! I also have 4th wheel kit and studs. I get as much snow on tunnel and bag as I did without. Ride trails and ditch bang.

RTX SE here and I have had the flares since day 1 of riding the sled. I have had zero snow on my back, back of seat or tunnel. Also ride with a guy that has a 2012 cat turbo and he has no snow on his either. Granted we only ride trails. No 4th wheel kits (yet).

I just put in the 4th wheel kit this fall after finding the bearings in my tri hub were junk at 1600 miles.
