- 2018 Sidewinder LTX-SE, 2019 Ski-Doo 900T Enduro (not as fun as Sidewinder)
Looking for an opinion. should there be a center tunnel protector? Previous owner studded my new to me 2018 Sidewinder LTXSE 144 singles but I don’t like outer belt studding so I pulled the ones outside off. The singles get pretty close to each other in the pattern and literally are under the area where the center Yamaha/cat glue on protector would be. Prior owner used a full tunnel protector set up that covers the left and right cooler lines all the way to the front. But not in the center smaller section. See photos. Should I be concerned with the studs directly under that area? I’ve got 1k miles with no issues but I just don’t want something stupid like that ruining a trip because there’s no protector down the center.

Is it flat on floor? No ski dollies under skis?Looking for some opinions on the following. My new to me 2018 Sidewinder LTXSE I just noticed is sitting with rear suspension completely compressed in my garage right now. I pick the rear grab bar up, pull the rear suspension up. When I let go the rear completely compresses. There’s no rebound at all. Are there issues with the shocks on these? If so do you think Yamaha will cover this under the YES warranty I’ve got. The sled has about 1k miles on it.

You don't need the center protector in the rear. Fine the way it is.

My bad... I’m an idiot. Dollies were under it. Removed and I get up and down travel. However thoughts on the center tunnel protector?

It's fine the way it is.
I run 1.625" studs (192 of them) and have NO protectors at all. They never hit if your track tension is set right. If your studs hit, your track is too loose.
