Tunnel protectors??

I studded up the center as advised on here without troubles as of yet but I’d definitely like to add some protection.
How tall would one want the strips? Where would I mount them?
It definitely looks to be trickier on the Viking than other sleds I’ve done.

Fyi...... there’s enough power there that when hooked up it scares the crap out you!!! Definitely different than past sleds!!
