Putting a Garret 28rs on a 04 Rx Warrior and have a few Questions. The 2 hoses that come off from the manifolds just before the carbs, on number 1 and 4, where do they go? The 2nd question, one the vacume on the turbo there are 2 lines where do they connect? The last question is what is done about the hood not closing do I need to mod the hood? It is a Northeast Turbo with a Powderlites cooler. One more thing the vacume line off from the cooler where does that connect? Sounds like a lot of dumb questions but I am new to turbos. Thanks

1. You may hook up your Boost meter or any other gauge that needs a pressure or vacuum signal. It's also where you connect the pressure/vacuum signal for a BlowOffValve BOV.

2. On the air compressor houseing there is a pressure outlet that are supposed to go to the wastegate actuator shown i pic 2. If you want to install a boost controller of any kind, it's installed on this line to manipulate the amount of pressure reaching the actuator thus altering the boost pressure your system will produce.

3. You will need to modify the hood. The hood is probably hitting the turbo's air compressor housing or the waste gate actuator, most likely the compressor housing. Find the spot where the turbo hits and grind off with a dremel tool or similar.

so I hook the gauge off from the hoses from the back of the carbs. Then I need to get a regulator and hook the vacuum side of the actuator to it and the boost side of the turbo. Does it matter where I drill and tap the turbo at on the boost side? What is the valve in the picture on the side of the intercooler and where does the hose go to from there? Thanks for all of the help on this.

Your last pic is a MC Xpress intercooler or a copy of a mcx, not a powderlite. The nipples/barbs of the boots between the engine/carbs should be hooked together, all 4 of them, then run a line to the intercooler in your 3rd pic to the bov, has a little nipple to it. Havent seen a wastegate pot with 2 nipples on it before, but it needs to go a fitting on the compessor side of the turbo, there should be something there. This line is were a gated boost tee would go or what people call a boost controller. Like Rxrider said, grind away till fits, or get a aftermarket hood that is taller.

woulld putting a 1 nipple wastegate pot be the thing to do? One of the nipples says its boost and the other say it has vaccume. Can i just put a nipple on the neck of the turbo just before the filter, drill and tap a 1/4 hole? I see on some of the pics on Powderlites has one in that location.
