Sled runs good builds proper boost But at idle there is a sound like a hydraulic pump that is caveatting also don’t hear the unload blast of air that I should. Haven’t had a chance to look into it yet just asking to see if anyone else has had this issue and maybe get some direction

Thanks in advance

Center bearing in turbo?
Oil pump going out?
Water pump bearings?
Balance shaft bearings?
PTO stub bearing?

Sounds to me like a noisy turbo.

Can you hear it winding down after shutting the machine down?

You will only hear the BOV if your really listening for it on the big tunes with big boost.

This is on a 2022 XTX with 200 miles on it 240/270/ 300hurricane have only run it on 240.
I have a 2017 set up the same
I hear the blow of on it and heard it on the XTX early on

The cavitation sound is definitely coming from left side

Going to take a look today and many swap blow off valves if I don’t find any thing obvious.

Is it the noise the ROV makes from the crankcase vent hose in the air box? Pull the air box cover off and check it. Sounds like a pulsing sound.

Yep, this! Got to be the ROV sound on the clutch side the way they run it now.

As a test, remove the line going to the ROV and see if it goes away. Can run a line down to under the running board to test this out.

It’s a pulsing coming from the roll over valve
It’s in a heated garage after every ride so it never had a chance to freeze other than maybe extended stops on the two rides I’ve been on

Lots of gunk in the hose
I think it’s going to get the bypass

Has any one else experienced this

It’s like the oil tank builds pressure then the ROV release and then closes momentarily.

I almost think I could hear it doing this once down the trail but harder to nail down ounce the hurricane mountain pipe takes over on what you hear

Also that snot like substance in there can’t be good in the combustion department

My 17 is bypassed my wife’s 19 is bypassed going to do the 22 XTX I guess
Once done didn’t have to worry about.

Just curious if this is an issue others experienced

Bypass it! No brainer.. Is the oil snot coming out the hose on the other side of ROV onto top of clutch guard?? Its eventually going to go onto your clutches..

I didn't bypass the ROV but added the BOP oil tank bypass which connects the oil tank back to the engine (valve/cam cover). I don't hear the pulsing noise but I also can't say I've paid attention. Maybe the clutch rattle is masking it.

The sound I’m hearing can’t be ignored if yours was doing it you would notice. I have the BOP bypass also that I was going to install. Maybe I’ll try it and see if it stops the pulsing sound
