I'm not sure. I had no popping last year with the Switzer turbo. This year with the Garret GT28r I get some on high idle at warmup. I opened the screws to 2.5 and I can't really tell if it made a difference. Once the sled is warm it seems to be ok. I do need to T the carb coolant lines and put in a shutoff, becasue it starts very hard when hot. The Yamabond 4 works great. It makes a good seal and remains pliable. It is also impervious to gas and oil and won't degrade.

Working on a heat shield for the carbs to help solve that problem. Will post it once I get it all worked out.

What year is your sled? How many miles? Are you doing the work or having someone else? What is the elevation you ride at? What do you have for clutching? When was the last time the clutches were checked/rebuilt? What weights are you running in the primary? What spring? What rpm do you pull at full throttle? The biggest question is: How did the sled run before you put the turbo on? There are an ifinite number of questions that need answered to really give you some help. If your sled ran great before you installed the turbo then I would get your installation manual and double check every step of the installation to verify that each step was done properly. The first turbo I installed I had no prevoius experience installing turbos and found Bender's Installation easy to follow and high class. I was super impressed with how it all came together and the sled ran great! If you can find someone in your area that has the same sled and it runs good copy his setup (jetting, clutching, the whole nine yards)
