That's still under the seat, phazerboost. But that is the only place for it to go. I'm going to mount a supertrapp silencer upside down and as far right as possible, the intake and air filter as far left possible, and build a heat shield between them. I'll probably cut away some of the left rear bodywork like the vernon guys. Then it will be as quiet or as loud as you want at any time, and no more intake issues.

Have any of you guys over there tried running stock head shim and 0,4-0,5bar boost?
When i called an MCX dealer they recomended this setup. Would be much less turbolagg and 120hp.

I'v talked directly to mcx service department today and they did NOT recomend to add a turbocharger on the phazer with stock compression. They said that this was completely madness and that the engine would not last for long if doing this.

RANDY SWENSEN , is running his Turbo phazer on 50/50 race fuel stock engine., 8 lbs boost !

Ofcourse it would be madness, but a few still have done it. But the one I know of works at a yamaha dealer.

ok so if its madness how do you go about lowering the compression?? new pistons? head gasket kit?? and where can you get them??

The MCX kit includes thicker head gasket and everything else needed.
Except the Freeride track ofcourse AND a clutch kit :flag:

I think i will go for the Nytro RTX instead of a turbo for next year anyway. If the pricing is right here in Sweden that is.

MCX kit comes with 2 head gaskets and a head shim approx 3/16" thick.
Approx 3 hrs to install !

is that 3 hrs to install the ENTIRE system? or jut the head gasket part?? also what clutch setup would 1 recommend? and 1 more ? where can I get the cheapest mcx turbo??

20 HRS ENTIRE SYSTEM ,

Here's a pix of what i have done so far. Going to use another hose or length of pipe with a 90 on the end to run it back past the seat and then up. I am also extending the muffler outlet a little to get it down into the tunnel more.
