Just a question , Has anybody used the multi flash bundle with cold air intake and a stock muffler ? if so what was your thoughts , was there really a great horsepower drop with the stock muffler

Last season I put 2500km on Tune bundle with MaxSpool17 on Super Quiet muffler then mid season I swapped to stock muffler as I was spending time up north where they are strict and ran another 3000km on MaxSpool16 with Stock Muffler.
There was a difference in the power yes, but not too much and certainly not enough for me to go back to thr SQ. Stock muffler tune was really freaking good, and quiet!
One thing I will say, I never switched from MS16/MS17 so to me, having the bundle with the dash flash was not worth it. It's a lot of extra money and either of those MS16/MS17 tunes are VERY good there's no need to have anything lower at all. My advice, pick one either stock muffler or aftermarket and just roll with the one tune.

With MS16 Stock Muffler I had the DTAY-1 Dalton weights empty in primary, to me that was too heavy still should have been the QAY. Black Bronze primary spring, black orange secondary spring, Ron Ward Helix with unknown angle cuz he won't say and full Thunder Products Rollers in primary and secondary.

I too went from ms17 sq to sm tune ms16. I found a definite difference. That ms17 pulled much harder. Had to make change due to Quebec getting way too strict. The sq ms17 is a real nice set up with bov, cai and three bar sensor.

Finally tuned my sled. Went with Powertrail Sm and MS 16 Sm only. I am starting out with Powertrail first then will upgrade to a 3 bar and BOV mid season for MS 16. Probably will never use Powertrail again once I install MS16 but thought it would be useful for low octane fuel stops. I could beat all my friends last year on their Poos and Doos stock. I told them I did a clutch kit this year. Can’t wait to see the look on their faces.

My opinion, and I know sometimes the funds don't allow it right away, but don't waste half a season on Powertrail lol just get Er done before the season and run MS16 all season. You already got the tune, it's WELL worth it!

I just mean, season is so short, why waste part of it with a lower power tune? Lol Pretty sure Ben says you are ok in a pinch to run 87 with MS16 too, I mean, don't fill the tank with 87 and drag race on a lake lol just drive normal to the next gas station and you are goodKeep talking. Powertrail may last a week now!

Or just carry a bottle of Lucas octane boost..Great stuff that really really works great. Problem solved if you can’t get premium. MS 16 here you come lol!
