Noticed my right side panel did not close as nice as the left side panel as it did not have the thumb screw.
So I ordered thumb screw and small washer and spring nut. There is a hole in the side panel for the spring nut all ready. All you have to do is push the side panel where you want it and use a scribe tool with a point to mark the hole on the body plastic. You can see it through the opening in the side panel. Drill a hole to insert the thumb screw and locking washer. Now no gap and holds panel perfect.

I'm doing the same thing. Don't know why they never put one on each side.

You should post some close up pictures of this. I am curious to see what it looks like.

I have a 2015 I just kind of wanna see how they do the spring nut set up on your sled. My side panel does the same where it does not quite look right when your really taking a look at it. A few pictures to see what exactly you did would be sweet!

Asked my dealer about that last year on my 15 and they said most people take the left side off and dont use any. Never had a poblem with both gone on a mountain sled. Fred

Mine fell out on the trail. Helped with the decision to toss it.

I hate that thumb screw. Thinking about tossing mine as well. Maybe it will just fall out one day....
