For the upcoming winter I am going to do a mileage challenge for my fundraising efforts to help support the WI Pink Ribbon Ride. All the money I raise will go to support breast cancer patients in WI so please help support our local friends.
The date for the challenge is Dec 1st thru Feb 10th and my goal is to get over 2,000 miles logged. Between overseeing the Cor PowerSports race series, my personal racing, family, and work as well as my kids racing 2,000 miles will be a tough goal to meet but for such a great cause I will do my best!!
I am also going to track all my rides on here as well as on our website. We got our first snowfall and took the my Nytro race sled for a quick little spin around the yard, I did not get a pic of the odometer before taking off as I was so excited to have close to 20" of white stuff on the ground!! My starting mileage was 541 and I just noticed today when I pushed it back in the shop it has 544 so 3 miles on my property is short fun!! I will post a pic tomorrow of the 544 on the odometer, I reset the tripometer tonight too so we will call the start mileage at 544.
Our trails open on Dec 15th but I have alot things going on behind the scenes with the Port Yamaha / Cor PowerSports / Totallyamaha.com race team, Cor PowerSports xc race series, and ministry so I am not sure how much riding I will be getting anytime soon.
I will be installing some new trick parts that just came in from our race sponsors and I should have my new Elka race shocks next week.
I will post each race weekend too on here and try to update this thread every night from the USXC 500, just depends on internet service there.
If you want to make a one time donation you can go to my fundraising page at Todd Myers - WI Pink Ribbon Ride Fundraiser page
Just edited the post to add the odometer pic, forgot to take it when we pulled it out of the garage so I snapped it when we put away for the night.
The kids wanted to ride after school so I pulled out the Nytro to play the "Adult supervision" role while the kids turned laps on our practice track as they prepare for the upcoming race season. I have logged 5 miles on our property making sure the kids are safe but I am hoping to bust out on the trails soon.
We have received about 20" here in Somerset and there is another chance of significant now in the forecast.
Thanks for all the support and as always

I was able to get out for a short 16 mile ditch ride Sunday from Somerset, WI to Burkhardt, WI along Cty Rd I for some testing for the upcoming race season.
Snow conditions are not great so I thought I'd try the ditches but they weren't much better.
My race Nytro worked awesome and I'm looking forward to get some race time in, Jan 19th will be our first race so that will be awesome!!
I ran two GoPro's Sunday and took a couple pics with my phone but my computer hard drive crashed so it will be a few days until I can post that stuff.
Tomorrow I'm going riding so I'll post that info then Friday we are doing some testing so hopefully I'll get some good footage for you guys!

Well plans don't always work out as one would hope... Got a good hard 22 miles of testing in Thursday and but doing some adjustments to get the sled dialed in more for me.
I rode from Somerset to River Falls, WI but not near what I had hoped for.

Well riding and testing went to junk with warm temps and rain so my Nytro has been parked...
We will be racing on Jan 19th in Hayward so not only will I be getting some miles on my steed but hopefully some hardware for wins!!
Right now we are busy switching it over to our ice race set-up and then in early Feb I have the I-500 coming!!
