Anyone running one of these? I remember last year TY was selling custom snow flaps. They looked sweet! But I haven't seen them in a while in the store.... Does TY still sell those snow flaps?
Checked with MrSled and the flaps are discontinued because the guy that was making them vanished . MrSled could not fill the orders and ended up having to refund the money.

We could get great lakes snow flaps to make them. The shop is by the house if Tom wants me to check into it. He does all brands and custom logos etc.

We only get one order a month if we are lucky so it is hard to put big orders in for these and it is tough to justify putting the time and money into it if only a couple people are interested. The guy who made them before would make them on an as needed basis and then he would ship them direct.

His name is matt wilcox. The name got changed to Proven Design Products. He's a really cool guy and if u can dream it up he can put it on a snow flap. Only bad part is he rides an artic cat.
His new website is www.provendesignproducts.com and those are just a few examples of what he can do. My sled is on his website.
U can order through me or direct with him. If u go through him tell him John sent ya.

I have one of the TY snowflaps.....
Junk.
Must be made from recycled pop bottles.
I emailed the fella, and he basically brushed me off.
Mine was splitting at the bottom.
I makes a nice wall ornament in my garage now....

All the ones that I have seen were crap or went to crap as well... it was a mistake to offer such a pile of crap... sorry. By chance was it a flatter flap or shaped?

My brother had the flat flap and the first time he drove the sled with the brand new flap he did a wheelie and the flap hit the ground and snaped in half, lol

They sure looked cool tho. I recently ordered a brand new Yammi flap from Port Ysmaha in another big order I made, so I'm good now. But I'd rather have a custom TY4 Stroke flap on there if I'd have had a choice!
