A little SR Viper / FX Nytro motor upgrade teaser pictures. This is our ported SR Viper / FX Nytro cylinder head with 1mm oversized intake and exhaust valves, valve spring kit, titanium retainers, and porting. As well as our intake cam package for this upgrade. Hoping for 155 hp on pump gas when used with a full exhaust and intake kit.

Currently building 3 sleds with this package, one naturally aspirated, two turbo sleds.

Me too. If this is the one that goal is power at 8500 rpm. Would really like that.

If you need another sled for data collection, you have mine, have at it Allen! Lol

What does the new cam do? I should know this but I don't. The craftsmanship is beautiful!

Little more lift and changing duration, etc.

Sorry but I have to ask, why not just do the EVO flash to get 160hp?

Some guys don't want their ECU flashed, there's still alot of unknowns about the ECU flash yet. Plus if this adds 15 hp, wouldn't it be great to add the EVO flash and have 175 hp on pump gas with no turbo?!

How much? Is a PCV necessary, or ECU reflash?

I am sure once its done he will know about tune. I really am hoping this cam will bring the peak power down into a reasonable RPM range for our clutches. Why Yamaha designed a motor that keeps making power way past the Rev Limit I dont know. But it sucks. Maybe they originally intended to put a gear reduction on which would be fine. Let it rev. But really for a company that is a Engine Company and builds cutting edge this motor is a mismatch for a snowmobile. Works fine but its basically crippled by Clutch limitations .

Allen,
What total HP do you expect for the turbo sleds with this set-up?
