We did 18 runs at Dynotech on Monday with varying boost from 4 psi to 8 psi and 87 octane fuel to 91 octane fuel. Below is the dynosheet for the 91 octane fuel on 8 lbs boost (measured at the intercooler). We made over 200 hp on 87 octane as well with no signs of detonation! Thanks to DynotechJim!

Wow that takes guts to run on 87 and actually try it! Even more impressive is you think it will hold together and be reliable, that is my main concern with going turbo, mine with nitrous will run on corn syrup if it had to get me out of the woods, I just cant gurantee that I will have access to 91 on trails I have never been on before in our back packing trips.

Nice job!

PS can you put a detailed post about your kit available with a mini FAQ? I think it would help to have it as a sticky and help new buyers make deicisons!

Kinger, would I recommend 87 octane every day out on the trail? No, but I now know that if you can only get 87 octane at a station you can make it live. We spent 5 hours listening for detonation on each run and fine tuning the fuel system, etc. I am working on a PDF/sticky that can be posted with information, just haven't had a chance to finish it up completely.

;)!
