Bought one used this summer, is not ceramic coated, and no directions of how far back to cut the stock pipe, and now Im alittle worried about the heat being to much and melting the plastics, what to do if I want to put stock back on? Guess Im just not a fan of cutting, but have to to install. Any little help would be appreciated, this is going on a 07 phazer.

Why would it melt the plastic? The stock exhaust isn't coated.
If you took the seat off you can lay the Q on top, line up mounting location, and eyeball the cut. Is the Q a tapered expansion that slips over the stock pipe?
Putting the stock back on may require taking the whole system off and welding it back on. You might find a short 1.75" butt joint band clamp. This would only work if your cut isn't near a bend. That might be hard to find as all automotive band clamps start at 2"

The Q is tapered. The Stock has a heat shield or heat sink attached to it.

I have never seen one melt with a Skinz silencer. If you are uncomfortable just matching it up send them an email. There customer service from my experience is second too none.

It does? I just cut one off last week. Please post a picture
edit: I just went and looked at mine. I guess it does have some type of plate attached to it. It is so tight to the actual body i guess i never considered it a heat shield. Not sure how well it could do that function so tight to the heat source.

I didn't have any instructions when I bought mine. They emailed me a copy when I asked for it.
If you are concerned about heat order the factory block off kit for the rear hole. It comes with an extra heat shield for under the seat.
That's what I have on mine and haven't had any problems.
