As the fella's mentioned in the posts above...I will give Don Georges another plug. I bought my Apex from them. Great prices on parts and u cant beat their pricing on sleds also. They are a Cat, Skidoo and Yamaha dealer (Junior rides a Yamaha). Their website is www.dongeorge.com

Anyone know of a good dealership close to the Canadian border around Niagara Falls area to buy Apex parts from. Thanx Dave

Why don't you support your local dealer right in Peterborough?

He is probably trying to see if he can buy parts cheaper in the US then in
ontario . And im pretty sure he can as i went to michigan to pick up some parts for my rtx. parts in ontario were 419.00 plus tax Parts in michigan were 253.00 plus tax at the border . I would support my local dealer too if he could convince Yamaha Canada to stop screwing us !

RTX Rox, We do not have a dealership in Peterborough anymore besides if I can get an A-arm for $200 in the States as aposed to $365 than I will do it. Yamaha Canada has to realize the price difference, until they do we will shop for the cheapest price. It's only economics.

Hey I guess I'm different than you guys. My time is worth more than $165 to me and last time I checked gas wasn't free, you have to pay tax at the border, plus the conversion of CAD - USD = breaking even. I like to spend my spare time riding. Have you ever realized the difference in population from Canada to USA? A loaf of bread is $ 0.50 in US, a case of beer is $ 25.00 Everything is relitive because of the supply and demand. In my business (oil) everything is volume driven, the more you buy the better you pay. I'm guessing that's the way everything in the world works.
