Hello to TY forum members, first post here.
My buddy and I are contemplating switching from "Yellow" to "Blue" for the obvious reasons of reliability and fuel consumption. I thought I had read in a magazine review (a while ago) that the Vector/Rage models went to a rider forward position at some point. What years are those? Budget wise probably going to be looking at 06-07 models, any helpful advice?

07 would be the first year for the vector/rage in the delta box II...

I think you mean 08, I am 99% sure 08 was the first year.

Yes, 08' was the first year for the Vector in the Delta Box II chassis with the better ergos. There are many on this site including me that have added an Apex seat to RS Vectro/Rages which gives you virtually the same ergos as a newer DB II. For less than $300 you can add a Apex seat and a 2" bar riser that totally changes the way an older Vector rides and handles. G.B.

Thanks, that good to know. I have been riding dirt bikes way longer than sleds and I instinctively stand up over the rough stuff. So I want to try the newer riding position, it should suit me better.
