Curve riders - go with a 6" Shaper or round bar on your Vipers.

how about if you are not studed on a 137?

Same setup! 6" Round for mild manners and 6" Shaper for more bite.

That seems off to me? I was running 6" shapers on curves in my 121 apex with an ice ripper. Wouldn't a 137 warrant a longer carbide?

9" studboy deuce bars, just installed, with 144 woodsy down the middle will report back when i take her out later today or tomorrow for first run, lol

I got a pair of ski rubbers from 2013 nytro.Had to cut them down some with a stanley knife but they fit and work good.Took maybe 15 minutes to get them to fit .

How are the tuner skies working out on the viper?

Just installed studboy deuce carbides in my stock skis. They definitely are more robust than the woody's trailblazer iv's and extend down more from the bottom of the ski. Can see why there would surely be more grip. Can't wait to try tomorrow.

If you are an aggressive rider I would stay away from 6" doolys, they did not work well for me on my stock skis. Still experienced a lot of push at higher speeds. I will be going to either curve skis with 9" shapers or 10" carbides on my stock skis.... Waiting for yamadog for some feedback in the next few days.

I am trying to get my work done to leave tonight - not looking good hopefully go in the morning and test with the new skis and setup.

Will let you know.

What sled? the LTX is completely diff from the XTX. I had no dart even with stock ski and carbides. If dart is all you want to wliminate then just shim the rubbers on the back side. That forces the nose of the ski up slightly and really does the trick.

We put a set of 8" studboy deuce bars left over from the cats on dads viper, they never worked well on the cats. However they work exceptionally well on the viper! No tracking or darting, and good steering, just a slight push.
