Had my 1st experience with no start. Fortunately I realized the fuel pump was not running. It was in the trailer in my driveway, would have been nice to have driven a couple hours to ride. Got hood off in trailer, not fun, to access fuse block, tried a hair dryer on relays and all is good for now. Does this indicate there is moisture in the relay? Should it be replaced? Thanks

I had the same problem 2 weeks ago after parking my 15 ltx in the trailer for the night after riding. I never use the kill switch to turn the machine off but did the night prior. I figured it was the problem as I rocked the switch back and forth and the machine started.

Never had it happen to my viper as I never use the kill switch, always shut off on the key, but had it happen to my honda motorcycle this past summer when a buddy shut it off on the kill switch and it wouldn't start, after reading up on it the best I can understand is it kinda confuses the ecu when shut off on the kill switch, wouldn't be surprised if the viper is the same

Never use the kill switch myself, have a fiend that uses it all the time with no issues. I did cycle the switch a few times, did not seem to make any difference. Hair dryer seemed to do it but anything's possible.

Knowing this was an issue in the Nytro days I bought a relay and put it in my truck to take with just in case, but have not had to use it.

i also had my first cold no start. My relay is a cat item but is solid state. I heard it may be low voltage due to cold? I charged the battery and the next day it started?

We're is the relay I would like to find it and pick up spare.

That's the first place I looked thanks I'll looks again you would think an electrician would be able to see it the first time lol thanks again

My buddy's '15 LTX SE has been starting every time, but does take a little bit more to fire than mine. On our last ride, a relay, not sure which one yet was "clicking" at a high rate almost after every shut off. Kill switch or key. I would carry an extra relay in a dry place ie not under the hood. Maybe on the tunnel pack or in the tool kit.

I think the same principle applies. You shouldn't cover your machine until AFTER its cooled down, to prevent moisture build up. So if you pull the sled into the trailer right away and don't let things cool down enough, you may be getting a similar reaction. We always pull up to the trailer, shut them down, change out of our gear and then load up. May be something small, but hasn't given us issues or left us stranded.

The relay is hard to see without taking the hood off. You may feel it by reaching under the hood past the aluminum looking fuse box.
