Stock (aside from carbides and studs) Viper. Looking for suggestions to improve handling and maximize the sleds potential. The sled feels unstable while cornering...the inside ski either lifts or feels like it wants to lift.
It's a 2014 Viper which came with the Fox Float 3 front shocks.
Thanks!

Send your rear shocks out to me for a revalve and it will be a whole new sled that actually has a working suspension that also transfers which is critical to handling. HUGE difference.
$80 a shock +shipping 3 day turnaround
Thanks

Awesome. Thank you. Should I message you here?

Inside lift is good it means the outside ski is biting . Let your mind at home and drive in harder if it actually lifts then twitch the bars in deeper to the turn and the front will squirt causing the the outside ski to slip bringing the Inside down. Once you learn this chassis you will find that nothing can hang with it on the tight twisties
First thing before anything is get good skis on it and ditch the stock ones. Dont think you will be impressed in the cornering department by just a revalve and to stay with the crap stock skis.
It's a 14. They have cat skis. They turn just fine if shocks are right. Good carbide too.First thing before anything is get good skis on it and ditch the stock ones. Dont think you will be impressed in the cornering department by just a revalve and to stay with the crap stock skis.

Like the man says inside lift is good..just asking..are you putting on the brakes or is this driving hard into a turn

Snowtrackers !! I have the semi aggressive and get a little push at times .l would buy the aggressive .try Setting floats between 65-70 psi.
Inside ski lift is good if you are on the edge. If it lifts when going slow or not aggressively in turn it is because front is not being planted. Transfer. Rear shocks is issue. Remember the feeling well. When right there is two ways to do every corner. Driving which is neutral throttle and some brake or sliding the back end under power. Always nice to have the option of either since you never know what's around a corner!Like the man says inside lift is good..just asking..are you putting on the brakes or is this driving hard into a turn

I tried Yamaha Tuners and Curves on my 14 RTX, didn't like either one much... My current and favorite setup I have found is the stock skis with Woodys Dually 4" carbides. I have Fox RC2 Evols on the front so I cannot comment an Cannondales re-valve but I did have him re-valve my rears and it is much improved from stock!

Awesome replies! Thank you all. Rear re-valve and dual carbides seem like a good start... then tinker from there. Gotta hurry up, upstate NY is getting hit probably as we speak.

You didn't get back to me..does it do this going into a turn hard or does it happen after you let go of the brakes

I did the Evol upgrade on my Floats. I like it. They have two separate air chambers so you can tune for roll and high speed bottom resistance independently. I also revalved my center shock. I don't think the rear shock was too bad. Dooleys will help get rid of the twitchy feeling but I never found a dooley that will hold under very aggressive cornering. I run 8" Woodies on the stock skis and it corners very well. Maybe a little darty though. I put the dooleys on and let a little air out of the main chamber when the wife rides it.
