I've had a few people tell me the Ignition Module studder won't work with the cat ECM's. You're saying you have had good luck with yours? Maybe I should just wire in a switch and try it!?
Mine works great. Fun!

Who has set up there program to run it? Whose tune on ignition module?

Hopefully the other guys chime in, but I think it's just a matter of wiring up a switch to send ground to the Ignition Module, turning it on in the laptop and then setting the desired RPM?
You don't need to have any different tune/timing installed on the Ignition Module...as far as I know

The launch control function is as simple is hooking up a switch/button and it'll work. If you really want to get in to tuning it as an anti-lag setup it needs to be wired up specifically so that when you push the button it will switch over to a separate map in the PC software, that's the map that you can tune to actually build boost on stutter. I have mine building 1 psi on stutter, it's not tremendous but it takes away any turbo lag on a launch yet still safe considering I have all stock valve train components. As far as it not working with the cat ecu, I've never had any issues with mine at all, it works every time.
X2 then you just use the program to set the best engagement rpm.

I think that's all kind of personal preference. I have my belt set tight and when on stutter with the rear end raised mine will just start to roll the track but when it's on the ground it won't creep at all. I like that the best for mine as it seems to maintain traction the best, no harsh slamming in on the belt or real high engagement.

Is there much difference in the studder map compared to non studder? Are you just adding more fuel down low?

Fuel and timing changes, they each obviously only get adjusted in the rpm where it's going to be used, I'd say 2000-4500 rpm. When button is pressed it goes to map 2 which which is where you make changes for stutter. Once button is released it switches back over to map 1 which is the standard map.
That is slick. Never thought of that. On mine I am just using the second map for premium fuel so it's a separate switch. Turbo would for sure do it just like you did.Fuel and timing changes, they each obviously only get adjusted in the rpm where it's going to be used, I'd say 2000-4500 rpm. Just posted a longer post on how to and setup, would make a great addition to the faq's and would be better yet if some of the tuners commented towards it with some more specifics on the tuning itself.
