can someone post some pics of the stab wheel installed on the proaction suspension.i just recieved mine and it has no instructions.please and thanks guys.
 

no the stab wheel kit with 4 small wheels on it ,to prevent the front of the track from hitting the front of the rails .i was told i need them for drag racing.that and a clutch cover that is inclosed.the limiter straps are also suppose to go through them also.

AAAHHH, I see.

Are they required by rules?

Because the track does not hit the rails during a drag race, take some video and you will see what I mean.
 
yes ,they are recommened by ssra ,who are the guys putting on these races.hi ted ,what do you run in your suspension when you drag race your sleds.
 
Fern - I have a sled in my shop that I've installed the stab wheels on to meet the sanctioning requirements. I'll snap a few pics for you tomorrow and post them up.
 
stab wheels come std on proline and wahl skids, they prevent the track from "stabbing" the rails upon decelaration. In your Photo collection Ted on your red sled, you have a stab wheel axle on your proline,its the single wheel at the front tip of the rails. You may just know it by a differnt name.
 
On a stock skid, I just removed the stock rail caps then drilled out the rivet holes in the rails to 3/8". Trimmed the bottom end of the rails for a smooth transition and bolted on the anti-stab kit using some loctite. No problems so far.

thats the way I did mine works fine.
