So should I just buy the rail extensions or look for a xtx skid?? Also what about gearing is it the same or different?? And curious what u guys with the 144 see for top mph?? Thanks

I think Muffin Works makes the tip up rail extensions and then you can by the XTX tunnel missing part and the rear heat exchanger.

Was looking at them!! Will I loose a lot on top end??? Jay curious n what the xtx guys are running for mph??

I can't say what I've seen top end because I was paying attention to how fast trees, corners, bumps, etc were coming up. It was somewhere between oh #*$&@ and f-me though...

I have read on here on a few occasions that some are finding that the XTX's are a bit faster on the top than the shorter 128" version. Nobody can figure out why though. Kind of the same that my 136" Attack was faster than my 121" Apex. Not sure what the outcome would be if you just add extensions to obtain the length.

Dealer friend of mine has a 2015 Apex XTX, he registered 109 with his GPS on groomed trails.

So rail extensions new track gears and tunnel extension pieces n rear heat exchanger that's about it... And re clutch obviously!! That's about it!

I have muffin works 121-144 tip up extensions and a muffin works tunnel extension on my 07 apex. I can get right at 100 mph GPS on perfect trails. I weigh in at 300 +/-geared up too. I am running stock gearing and Ulmer clutch kit that was for 136 set up I had. The muffin rail extensions bolted right on. All the holes lined up without having to do any drilling. Other extensiona I have used in the past always had 3 or 4 holes that weren't even close.

Used same cooler. Cut the elbow off the ends and wrlded them back on so this cooler would work. It was done when I got the sled. It was 136 when I got it and I changed it to 144.
