Hi guys, I was thinking of making a retro look of a 1980 black and gold srx out of my apex gt. I was woundering what everybodys thoughts are. Do you think it would look sweat. 
I was never a fan of the black and gold color scheme.

sounds like it would be hot. the yellow and black that hauck built didnt sound good until it was reality. 80 srx is still one great looking sled. post some pics if you do it.

Also, Get ahold of Jordan at Arctic FX. Im sure he could come up with some great graphics for you. Sounds like a really fun project.

I have a gt done in chrome and black and it looks great. I just think that black and gold is rich looking and will be a one of a kind. Thanks for all your thoughts guys, anyone else have any thoughts. Would be nice to see a pic also. Plan on making the rails, a arms, bumper, handle bar risser, gas gap, alluminum ski tips, etc chrome gold. Seat will have satain gold in it, tunnel supports will be satain gold, hood would have retro stripes. Any other ideas.

In February 07, one of the dealers had a picture on eBay, of a black and silver Apex or Attak GT in their showroom, and the showroom lights made the silver(grey) portions look gold. Nicest combination I have ever seen, in my opinion.
