Hello, I bought a 04 Warrior with 3300 miles and this thing is driving me nuts. High idle and flutter around 6400 RPM's. Cleaned the carbs twice. Now I have #2 carb what appears to be a blast of air and fuel through the carb. I have the air box off and I'm trying to sync the carbs. I thought it was all good last night. Started it this morning and twice a blast came out #2 carb. Air fuel mix. No flame. Any ideas on what to do. I ready to trash this thing. Thanks!

Sounds like a clogged jet Im sorry to say. So it sounds like you need to clean them again. Im about to clean mine for the second time this season with only 5 miles on her so far. Shitty gas.

Are you able to post a vid? When the air blast comes out of the carb is it loud like back firing? Sounds like the needle and seat are leaking in that carb.

No back fire just a blast of air with fuel mist. And it was just random twice. Looking in the carb as it is running it looked like it was getting to much fuel. Just cleaned carbs again. Blew air through all passages. Will get it running tomorrow and see what happens. I do not know what is left to do. My 04 viper ran flawless to this day. And this sled is just being a pain in my #*$&@.

I'll bet the needle valve is getting hung up/sticking randomly allowing fuel to enter into the carb body/intake. Pn # 8FA-14107-00-00

It's not leaking fuel once the engine is off. So I'm not sure it is a float issue. I have the carbs in sync now. #2 has a slight mist off fuel coming out of it still. Hasn't blasted air out like it did before. I put new o-rings on the main jets. Not sure if I'm taking this up north this week. Or my viper. Bummer

One more thing. I reset the pilot screws at 2 turns. When I seated them in they were all different. The carbs were never taken off before. So that was from the factory. Pilot on #2 carb may be to rich?

Rode sled around the yard. No problems. Carbs are synced. Idle is perfect at 1500. Starts right up. Still have the mist. Lol
