mine is gone as well. i thought i knocked it off boondocking and it was my fault but obviously it is an actual quality control issure or something. at least i get a free one now and I get to save myslef the $15 they probably charge for the little piece of plastic.

Mine was on pretty tight, so I took a screwdriver and knocked it out from the opposite side. I siliconed the crap out of it, so I do believe it will stay now.

I dont even know if mines still there. I put the first 90 miles on it this weekend. I'll check when I go back out to my sled. Hopefully its there. Looks like its about a 50/50 chance that it wont be.
