Watch turbo bolt

Regular straight torx can't get at the two bolts closet to the pipe attached to plate

I did not get a Nord Lock on the third turbo bolt behind the cast brace and it is gone.
i couldnt either. dont have 13 mm swivel, just swivel and socket and it was too big. got wrench on though and snugged a bit. was it tight? might have to get the right tool....

I haven't had the muffler off and can't see how I would get anything in there without doing so. Gonna let the dealer take care of that probably.
i had muffler off, still couldnt get it with what i had on hand.....but i did tighten it. not enough room to turn it out with box end though, unless i was doing life....

I had muffler off and a 13 swivel, could not get it on inside bolt. Yamaha will look after this until I sell or trade sled. Lucky for me have an excellent dealer.

I beilieve a 13mm deep offset or a 45degree deep offset wrench will reach the back bolt.

Yamaha has a bulletin out for this now. Dealer to check torque on bolts. Dealer showed me this when I dropped sled off for first service/heat shield recall

Your talking exhaust bolts? Check out the thread on here about that. I actually posted a pic about getting at those bolts

So who has been able to tighten the bolt that is the hardest to get to, can anyone explain how they were able to tighten. My next attempt will be to remove muffler and use a 13mm swivel socket to check/tighten. Anyone try a crows foot 13mm attached to a long extension and accessing from the top?

with muffler off you can get to it with a box end, barely, if you have specialty tools, you the man! let us know what you do. some could some couldn't use swivel. maybe 1/4 drive swivel socket?

Offset box end wrench worked easily. Can only snug it to whatever "feels" right. I have no idea how anyone would actually get a torque wrench to work on rear bolt

I used a short 1/4 drive socket then used an Allen key big enough to fit in the socket end to tighten it. Also put blue loctite on threads. Nothing else will work.
