A couple buddies and I will be in the Minocqua area Jan 18-23 and Feb 22-27, Sunday night till Friday. 
Does anyone go up north for the whole week or you usually only do long weekends? Its been a long LONG time since I been up north snowmobiling for a weekend. Is it still crowded
on the trails on weekends?

The Eagle River TY Ride is the same weekend as your first set of dates. You could ride over and meet the crew that week.
Riding during the week is the best. Trails are excellent and not nearly as much traffic. I mostly ride during the week.

The only thing that we have found out in the past is not all places are open on Mondays, It's the best riding during the week.

lot of places around minocqua are closed on mondays. i may be up there the first week of your dates i will be sure to look you up i grew up riding in the minocqua area my parents live 16 miles west on squaw lake.

For your first trip in January, that Monday is MLK day hence a long weekend for the public servants. My guess is that places will be open that Monday.
