I saw 49 deg F on my truck thermometer yesterday afternoon and 35 F this morning on my way in to work. I will make an official call no later than next Tuesday afternoon, but unless we get pounded with snow over the weekend, I'm going to cancel the ride, at least for snowmobiles. None fo the local trails are open and the lakes I have seen are barren after yesterday.
If anyone is interested, I'd still do a wheeler ride. Let me know.
Depending on what the weather does the rest of the year, maybe we can do something a little later in the year. I'll keep everyone posted on conditions.
Look for a final decision next Tuesday. For those of you with rooms booked, don't forget to cancel them. Anyone who is interested in doing the ATV ride, I highly recommend the Bimbo's Sunset Motel mentioned earlier. 1/2 the cost of the Holiday Inn.

Maybe we can just postpone this ride for now. Yes it is warm -- unseasonably warm. But this is Northern MN and many things can change quickly.

If we get snow and I am able to host and others can attend, I'll definitly do it. Call it a postpone/reschedule... I don't care. I just don't want to set a dete yet as this winter has been totally unpredictable. Even with the fluffing (of snow) we got last night, nothing even close to riding here.
