I am running a 50 horse boondocker shot into k+n's on my 05 rx and have the 48 gram base hh's. Anyone have a starting point for setup for me? Sorry id I hijacked a post here but I think we are all sharing and talking about the same info.Was also thinking of going 23\38 on the gearing, anyone test this?

On a stock RX1 with a stock secondary setting I run about 3/4 allen in heel 4.2 gram bolt & 1.4 gram washer inner & 2.6 gram with a 1.4 gram washer in the outer. Your gonna have to add 3-4 grams on top of that at least.

Im running 23 /40?(down 1 tooth on top)mines a 136" though.I got better top speed on ice and hardpack snow on my sled,this was pre nitrous though.Link

200srx thanks for the info I have heard that if you dont grind the tips off they can bind up and beak the front clutch.I tried some 64 gram polaris wieghts in mine briefly(too much weight)and noticed a gouge on my spider from the tips hitting.

steve your gonna be happy with the mph on the bottle with that gear. mines a 144 and it pulls it hard. how close are you to the bar in tawas?

steve i re-read your post, if you only did the top, that would be 23/38, i went down 1 on the top, and up 2 on the bottom. it should still rip, thats the stock gearing in the warrior. i ran it last year for a while.

Turk is this setup for the 48 gram base weights? The ones I have were out of a viper and I'm not sure if those are the same base weights that would have normally came for an rx or for that matter if there was different base weight hh's at all.

how about helix angles? Whos running what? I was thinking of trying a higher finish in hopes that the extra rpms would pull it.
