I'm looking to get myself a new pair of boots this year, and I'm just curious what seems to be the most popular. I've read plenty of reviews on different boots, but it would be nice if someone wrote a comparison article.
So what kind do you have, and how do you like them?

You may want to post what type of riding you do. The most popular boot may not be the wright one for your style.
I wear snowboard boots, they have a lot of ankle support and Ive never had a problem with my feet getting cold.

I've had my Sorel boots for 10 years at least. Removable liners, waterproof, warm and comfortable. I have a great looking pair of Yamaha boots which are very comfortable but definitely not waterproof so I'm still wearing my Sorels.

Altimate's for me - awesome boot - might be the one of the "others" that is getting the vote!

I use HMK Pro something rather. Not sure on the model. The gratest boot ever. Excellent ankle support, my feet have never been cold and all around just comfortable. They have a removeable liner so that they can air out better. I think they were around $140.00 or so. Good boot for the price.

Same set of Sorel's for the last 12 years... May need to find liners, but the shells are great. Warm, waterproof and I think fairly light.

Have both Trukke and Sorel's. Both are extremely warm, but the Trukke has much more support. Feels safer.

Sounds like Sorels should be a choice in the poll. I don't care much about the whole sno-cross look and support in a boot. I want something warm and comfortable, you can't beat Sorels there.
After trying many "snowboard" style boots, the Klim boots are the only ones that have lasted a full season for me. Next on the list to try is HMK.

HMK all the way!!
Like said before, it is awsome for ankle support, especially if you hit alot of jumps, or ride aggresively. They are very warm, look cool and quality is excellent, and they feel good when you walk in them, not too heavy or anything.
Cant remember the exact model of mine, and cant find a pic anywhere because they are an older model, but they are mostly black and grey, with greay laces. I beleive it was one of their earlier models.

I wear LaCrosse IceMan boots (sorel style boot, better cold rating). I've looked at the Altimate and Trukke boots, but another point of consideration is whether you can get them in the size you need. I only have so many choices in a size 15. (thus the username) I haven't seen many of these choices in the larger sizes. BTW, I've already heard most of the barefoot skiing comments, LOL
