replaced fuel pump on betsy and cleaned carb. new carbides on apex and et410. rdy to ride on sunday when my 3rd brother comes over.

Started pulling oil tank and hoses off, charging system isn't working and after a new voltage regulator, testing fuses, battery, and a parasitic draw test no luck. The stator appears to be failing under load. Hopefully this last batch of snow hangs around WNY untill next week when the stator assembly gets here from Japan....yippee

ordered muffler rubbers for dad's venture and scrounged a replacement till they come in.

Loaded it on my trailer soi I can ride tomorrow. may be my only ride of the year.

Took out the VL for a spin around the farm before doing some maintenance. Put her in the garage and removed the skis to install the triple points. I put the spindles on the sled wheels so that gives more room in the garage and makes it easier to move the sled around w/o the skis. Actually the carbides on Shaper bars are still in good shape with most of the wear being on the bar itself and not the carbides - so I'll use them for spares on my 7" Slydogs.

800 Km servicing done on the TF.

Since last post:
- Finished oil change on the VL - not too bad once I figured out how to remove the filter (couldn't get my wrench to fit so used a screw driver and hammer!) Got the KN with the nut now so next change will be easier - plus they're a little cheaper than Yam filters.
- new copper exhaust donuts.
- spark plugs
- steering rod

Noticed that a new outer tierod end that I installed last year has slop already; but the other side is fine!

studded my track and rode 121.5 miles on the river
