on my dads 05 rs vector when it is at idle and you punch it and let off quick it would start missing and the warning light would start flashingand you had to sit their and for a little bit but after that it was fine. i think it might be getting flooded out.

Sounds like the TORS kicking in. Make sure your throttle cable has the proper play. There is a update for this. See Your Dealer.

My did the same thing this weekend. It flashed a code 84 and the owners manual says it is the TORS.

I have a Rage it did the same thing it is the tors the dealer fixed it at no charge 
the fix is junk-had it done and it still activated itself so i just bypassed it

The fix worked for my wife's Vector. pimped, did you get your CDI replaced? That's the REAL fix.
